Early Intervention

Infant Development Program

Helping your Child Thrive from Birth to Age Three

At Reach Therapy, we proudly partner with the San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) to provide Early Start Early Intervention Services for children from birth to three years old who may be experiencing developmental delays. Our mission is simple: to help every child reach their full potential through compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to their unique needs.

What is the Early Start Program?

The Early Start Program is California’s statewide early intervention system for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Through our partnership with San Diego Regional Center, eligible families receive in-home support from trained specialists who focus on improving skills in key areas such as:

  • Communication and language development
  • Social and emotional growth
  • Cognitive skills
  • Physical and motor skills
  • Self-help and daily living skills

How Our Early Start Services Work

  • Personalized Goals – We work closely with you to create individualized objectives for your child’s development.
  • In-Home Visits – Most sessions are one hour per week in your home, allowing your child to learn in a comfortable and familiar environment.
  • Family-Centered Approach – Parents and caregivers are active participants, learning strategies to support progress between visits.
  • Play-Based Learning – Children learn best through play. We integrate skill-building activities into fun, engaging play sessions.

Spanish-Speaking Early Start Services

We are proud to offer Spanish-speaking ABA and early intervention therapists to serve our bilingual and Spanish-speaking families. This ensures that all communication is clear, culturally respectful, and supportive for the entire family.
